With the onset of cold weather, when the amount of greenery in the gardens is catastrophically decreasing every day, many of us begin to think about sources of additional vitamins for our own body. Of course, you can go to the pharmacy and buy vitamins, but these are not our options, we are looking for useful properties in vegetables.
And one of those vegetables is carrots. It is rich in vitamins B, PP, E, C, K, contains many nutritional inorganic compounds necessary for the body (iron, phosphorus, potassium, iodine, magnesium, zinc, copper, fluorine and others). Carrots contain a special substance, carotene, which, if it enters the human body, contributes to the formation of vitamin A there. And this is good vision, and normal digestion, and rapid growth. Vitamin A is the basis for the treatment of diseases of the liver, heart, kidneys, rejuvenation of the body.
Do not forget that the amazing and magical New Year holiday will come very soon, and you will need to set the table, so make as many dishes as possible that will contain carrots.
In terms of cuisine, carrots are a universal product, because they can be eaten in a wide variety of ways – raw, in their natural form, as fresh juice, in any boiled, steamed and baked state.
