Chinese women spend huge amounts of money on etiquette classes that teach how to pronounce designer names, how to peel an orange, and how to hold an oyster fork. The richer China becomes, the more its inhabitants aspire to get into high society. The influx of money and the cultural revolution led to a real boom. So for those who created the VKontakte group, its promotion is relevant. The notoriously polite Chinese also strive to present themselves better abroad. Secular manners classes cost about 10,400 euros and take place over two weeks. And clients – do not count!
Since ancient times, girls from aristocratic circles have been given to schools and gymnasiums to polish their manners, their behavior and accents. Wealthy families in the UK have traditionally sent their young ladies from society to schools to learn the intricacies of real education, so Princess Diana and Camilla once studied in closed schools in Switzerland. And as it turns out, many wealthy women in China also tend to emulate the manners of the aristocracy. They are willing to spend thousands of dollars to attend schools that teach secular manners. A new institute recently opened in Beijing offers its services to those who want to become more balanced and well-mannered.
Based on the massive influx of wealth in China in recent decades, as well as the cultural revolution that has taken place, the polite Chinese people who love to travel around the world want to make the right impression.
