Chinese know-how: subway fares are paid for with empty bottles

At the present moment, Beijing residents have the opportunity to pay for transit on the underground road with empty plastic containers. The underground road administration believes that, therefore, passengers will save on transit in the Beijing subway and support the preservation of the environment.
At the end of last year in December, two platforms of the Beijing Jinsong and Shaoyaojiu underground road were provided with four programmed mechanisms that compress vessels, produce them in less than three times the range. Subsequently, they are exported to one of the factories for the modification of plastics. For each capacity, the mechanism provides (up to 2 rubles) up to 0.5 yuan. One road is “estimated” at 20 plastic containers. To date, “eco-friendly travel” is in the phase of approbation. However, in the future, it is expected to equip all Beijing subways with similar mechanisms, and in turn bus stations and other social places of the capital city of China. Experts predict that such mechanisms will reduce the cost of the garbage collection process. In fact, similar mechanisms were already introduced in 2009 in Beijing, but were eliminated due to inefficiency. Experts from the organization Incom, which developed the mechanisms, are convinced that this time fortune awaits them, because the garbage bins make it possible for China to save approximately 18 million tons of black gold. Next in line, they intend to go to the international market.
