The Tula State Museum-Reserve has a long tradition of holding mass spectacular festivals of various directions and types. Every year, the reserve invites thousands of guests who come not only from Russia, but also from other countries of the world. Festivals that take place on the expanses of the legendary military field of Russia attract with a special spirit that combines picturesque nature, history, folk traditions and culture of the Russian people.
The list of festivals of the Kulikovo Field Museum is conditionally divided into the following groups:
one. Military historical festivals. Celebrations are held on the Day of Russia, as well as on the Day of the anniversary of the great battle on the Kulikovo field. Military history reenactment, costume shows, display of antique weapons: all this and much more can be seen at the international military history celebration, which brings together representatives of military and historical clubs from all over the world.
2. Festivals of folk traditions and crafts – folk festivals with the participation of folklore creative groups, holding master classes and fair trade.
3. sports holidays. The annual sports competition “March”, ski races, dog sledding competitions, “Bogatyr Games” – this is not a complete list of games in which everyone can show their strength and endurance.
